I was pretty excited when the founder of Factor 75, Nick, asked if I would be interested in trying a few meals out. Factor 75 is a personal chef service in Chicago that specializes in the preparation and delivery of meals that are designed to improve mind and body performance.

If you are busy like me, you don't always have the time to plan ahead and bring a healthy meal to work with you or cook up a delicious and nutritious dinner. Factor 75 is a fantastic solution to for my busy schedule! And the best part? These meals are not just healthy, They are SO SO tasty! There whole philosophy (and brand) is based of the fact that 75% of your fitness results come from what you eat:

Our nutrition philosophy is based on the most current research on nutrition and its effects on performance. We are not a "diet". We don't view food as whether it will make us thinner or fatter. The ingredients we use in our meals are viewed through a very specific lens: will this food increase our performance and our quality of life or not? Very simple. Very effective.

Factor 75 meals include a significant amount of lean proteins, a healthy dose of low glycemic carbs, and a substantial amount of healthy fat.

It's pretty convenient to order your personalized meal too - you browse their website and pick your individual meals. Then, you select your delivery day (you don't have to be there when they deliver because they are packaged with little freezer packs that keep your food safe).

Your meals stay fresh in the refrigerator for 4-6 days after delivery! The thing that I really like about this service is that it is completely customizable and accommodating to all dietary needs. I myself don't have many dietary restriction but I have been spreading the word to my vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free friends!

The guys over at Factor 75 sent me the Butternut Squash Lasagna, the Summer Quinoa Salad with Meat, and Sesame Chicken. All of these were yummy and very flavorful, but my all-time favorite is the Butternut Squash Lasagna. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. It was lasagna but instead of the layers of pasta, there were layers of Butternut Squash! As you know from my low calorie cauliflower pizza recipe, I love foods that mimic the real stuff but don't sacrifice taste!

I highly encourage you to scope out their website (try not to salivate)! You can browse at
